Welcome to the Belstone Cricket Club website.
The current club, revived in 1993, includes players
from the village of Belstone (population 250) and the
surrounding area. We have a thriving Colts
section providing one of the few summer team-sport
opportunities for youngsters in the region. As
well as playing in the North Devon League, the Club instigated
the Buckley Cup in 1997, a limited-over evening competition
between local villages. We also claim the distinction of
being, at 290 metres above sea level on the Northern edge of
Dartmoor, as being the highest ground in England. The Club
plays its cricket at Rew Meadow in Belstone and welcomes anyone
interested in joining the club

Everyone came away happy from Belstone’s
final North Devon League game of the season at
home to Newton Tracey – Belstone for winning
a hard fought low-scoring war of attrition by
23 runs....
Last over thriller at Braunton

One of Belstone’s closest North Devon League
games of the season boiled up to a climax in the
gloom at Braunton last Sunday with the home team
needing eight off the last over with four wickets
left....
Buckley Cup climax - 23.08.10
Spreyton (124 for nine) completed
their Buckley Cup games on 10 August with a 50
run victory over fellow top spot challengers Tedburn

Car Boot Sales are a vital fund raising
source for the club. Please support these
events during the season in any way possible.
They are held at Rew Meadow from 10am on Sat

The 2010 annual dinner will be
Friday, 8 October at the Tom Cobley Inn,
Spreyton.
UMPIRES & SCORERS
We are always in need of Umpires
and Scorers to see us through the season.
Both are crucial when we play weekend and
midweek league games.If you feel you can
contribute to these two duties in anyway
