Yeoford continued their poor run of form in the Buckley Cup when they travelled to Rew Meadow on 13 June.  Dismissed for just 38 the week before by Spreyton, this time they reached 56 for nine off 20 overs, still well short of Belstone’s 127 for five.  Richard Drake started the game in typically exuberant style with a six off the second ball on his way to 25 retired.  Neil Rowlands and Andrew Paterson also played fluently before retiring on 25 and 29 respectively.  Yeoford swiftly collapsed to 10 for five as Jonathan Parsons (4-2-2-3) ripped through the top order.  Only Phil Dennis, undefeated on 33, showed any resistance as all seven Belstone bowlers got among the wickets.
